Two Weeks Old

Oh Baby !  Elodie Sue is two weeks old today !  Robert and I are enjoying every moment we have with her and are taking each day a second at a time and soaking up the time we have with her.  Elodie is quite the smiley baby.  When Robert and I play and talk with her she always smiles.  Not a lot, but enough to let us know she enjoys time with us !  She laughs, but only when she is dreaming.  I have yet to hear her laugh while awake and alert.  I cannot wait for the first time my ears hear her beautiful laugh. Elodie Sue is hungry all of the time and eats like a champ !  I am curious how much weight she has gained since last week !  Our  midwife will be here today and will weigh her !  Elodie still is a very calm and relax baby.  She never really cries and only lets out a little wine when she is bored or hungry.  These only last a few seconds and are short lived.  This is what she looks like when she starts to get fussy !

I still find myself staring at her almost every second of my day.  I am so amazed that this little girl was created by the love of my life and myself.  She is perfect in every way and we are full of so much love and adoration for her.
